Lisa is highly qualified, holding a BSc (Hons) in Orthotics and Prosthetics with over 15 years of experience, as well as a BSc (Hons) in Podiatry and Podiatric Medicine with 2 years in this specialty. She is HCPC registered and a member of the Royal College of Podiatry. Martine is our highly experienced beautician who has over 23 years of experience in the beauty and nail industry, she has built a well-rounded and extensive skill set, gaining a deep understanding of beauty therapy. Her career began at Nails Inc., where she worked from 2004 to 2008 in renowned department stores such as Selfridges and Debenhams. During this time, she honed her expertise in nail artistry and customer service, laying a strong foundation for her career.

From 2008 to 2012, she further expanded her knowledge and skills at Urban Retreat within Harvey Nichols, where she enhanced her proficiency in advanced beauty techniques and gained experience working with a diverse clientele. Since 2012, she has been self-employed, offering personalized beauty services and building strong, long-term relationships with her clients.

She holds NVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications in nails and beauty therapy and has continuously furthered her education through various Continuous Professional Development (CPD) courses. These include specialized training in gel polish application, BIAB gel nails, Bio Sculpture gel nails, and certification as a Nouveau LVL technician. Additionally, she has completed Waxperts training and recently earned a Level 5 Certificate in Education, which has equipped her with the skills to teach and mentor others in the beauty industry.

Over the years, she has supported patients with a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, alopecia, and sun damage. Her experience includes working alongside dermatology specialists, where she developed strong clinical and diagnostic skills in skin assessment and patient care.

One of Nurse Jo’s specialist areas is phototherapy. As a trained phototherapy nurse, she is highly experienced in delivering narrowband UVB light therapy to patients with chronic and severe psoriasis. This treatment demands precise dosing, careful monitoring, and in-depth knowledge of dermatological conditions—all of which Nurse Jo has honed through years of hands-on experience.

She remains committed to continuous professional development and regularly updates her knowledge of the latest advancements in dermatology and skin care.
